cofcexchangeofcolours.jpgThe focal point in the change of command parade on Saturday 29 2007 occurred when Colonel John I. B. Macfarlane, Colonel Commandant of the Regiment for 20 years, handed the Regimental Colour to Lord Lovat, the Regiment's Colonel-in-Chief, who in turn handed it to Colonel Robert G. Darling, the incoming Colonel Commandant.

The parade took place at the Toronto Cricket Club on a beautiful afternoon with close to 100 officers, soldiers, pipers and drummers on parade representing every outpost or garrison from across North America. It included a firing exercise by 20 members of the student squads and was followed by a magnificent Highland Mess Dining-In at the Armour Heights Officers' Mess.
